2. Description of Service

Badminton Session Coordinator is a tool that helps organizers coordinate amateur badminton sessions, allowing players to find, join, and manage matches within their communities. The app is provided free of charge and is self-hosted.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 14 years old to use this app. By using the app, you represent that you meet this age requirement. Access is by invitation only — you must be added to a community by a moderator before you can participate.

This requirement reflects Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (chapter P-39.1), s. 4.1 and s. 14, which require parental consent for the collection of personal information from minors under 14.

4. User Accounts

Access to the app is provided through third-party login providers (Discord and Google). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials with those providers. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the app only for its intended purpose — coordinating badminton sessions. You must not:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or the underlying system.
• Post or transmit harmful, offensive, or misleading content.
• Interfere with or disrupt the app or its infrastructure.

6. Session Participation

When you register for a badminton session, you commit to attending or cancelling within a reasonable timeframe. Repeated no-shows without notice may result in your access being revoked by a community moderator.

7. Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be available at all times, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities. Use the app at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, including but not limited to missed sessions or loss of data.

10. Termination

Community moderators may suspend or revoke your access at any time, for any reason, including violation of these terms. You may also request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us (see our Privacy Policy).

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
